This club is designed for the owners of WOMB. WOMB is a nightclub in Shibuya Japan. They are one of the top clubs in Tokyo and are consistently featuring a mix of top international and local acts with techno, house, and drum n’ bass as their main focus.

problem
The owners of WOMB want to turn a building they own nearby their club into a secondary club. Tailored more towards the youth, this space will serve as a gateway toward WOMB.
solution
The club consists of a two-tiered design reminiscent of WOMBS four-tier design. The space was created in such a way that facilitate social interactions between patrons.
process
Previously used by another club, The space required the interior to be striped down. With the available floor plans being outdated, the design process required frequent visits onsite to take measurements, often while the interior was dismantled.
I meticulously created a model that had vital separation of parts which allowed for fast revisions and edits to happen in real time. This aided in the design process of the team and also allowed for a way to help the client visualize the space.
In some instances, distorting the renderings by using an extremely wide or narrow lens and shifting objects around was a useful and necessary tool to help the client get a better understanding of the design.
All modeling and rendering was done in Rhino7.
